You build a search with filters, see a live count of matches, then show the results. You can narrow by place, price, home features, size and age. You can also save a search and get alerts, jump to one address or paste one or more of our listing numbers.
Yes. The page shows a live count of matches as you set filters, so you can see right away if a filter is too tight or too loose. If the count drops to zero, loosen one filter at a time, for example the price or the area.
Yes. The page has an option to go straight to a home by address, and another where you can paste one or many of our listing numbers. That is handy when someone sends you a home and you want it without setting filters.
Basic covers the fundamentals every search starts with, such as place, price and home features. Advanced goes into every detail of the home itself. Premium adds data most sites do not have, such as the data tools. Start with Basic and add detail as you narrow.
Homes come from our listing data, and the data tools draw on public sources that each tool's page names. Listing details can change quickly, so confirm anything important before you make a decision. Our listing data refreshes continuously.
Use the Premium search to set limits before you look at homes, such as a school rating floor, a flood zone to filter out, an HOA dues ceiling and the combined tax rate. Then only homes that pass show. Tools are free, and many need free registration.
Loosen one filter at a time, since each one trims the list. Widen the area, raise the maximum price or drop a minimum such as garage spaces. Remember that data filters like HOA or flood limits cut results too. Talk to us if you want help deciding which filters to relax.
Basic browsing is open, but many of our tools need free registration, and saving a search and getting alerts goes with registering. You register once and keep your searches, instead of rebuilding filters every visit.
Yes. You can choose new construction as a property type, or use the new construction filter to show only new homes or only older ones. Whichever you pick, our data tools can still be applied, so you can check the same limits on schools, flood and HOA dues.
You can pick any mix of counties, cities, ZIP codes and subdivisions. Type inside a list to find a name. Mixing is useful when you are open to several areas, such as two cities and a subdivision you like in a third.
You can set a price range and choose a property type such as detached house, townhouse, condo, multi-unit, land or new construction. You can also require a minimum of bedrooms, full baths, half baths and garage spaces. You can include or exclude new construction as well.
The page shows single-family as the starting property type, so results focus there at first. If you want townhomes, condos, land or other types, change the property type filter. Check it when your results look narrower than you expected.
Yes. You can set minimum and maximum living area and lot size in acres, choose oldest and newest year built, pick the number of stories, and ask for a private pool or community pool, or none. Leave a filter blank when it does not matter to you.
They include waterfront or lakefront, golf course community, 55+ active adult and barndominium. You can choose only one at a time, because picking another replaces the first and clicking it again clears it. Use them to narrow quickly by the kind of setting you want.
Yes. The page has a Save search button, and the search builder describes saving and getting alerts. Saving means you do not rebuild your filters each time. Free registration is needed for many of our tools, so expect to sign up when you save.
