CYPRESS, Texas, October 24, 2026 — Allen Markel, a REALTOR® with Texas Premier Realty, has launched a rebuilt allenmarkel.com built on one idea: any agent can help you buy or sell a home, but what matters is how it is done and which options you are shown. The site puts searchable home data, a full set of ways to buy and sell, and guidance for the reasons people move in one place.
Home data you can search
Premium Search turns the things that decide whether a home works for a household into filters, so a buyer sets a limit once and sees only the homes that meet it:
- Property-tax rate, including municipal utility district (MUD) taxes.
- HOA fees, or homes with no HOA.
- Flood risk, by level or by FEMA zone.
- School grade, set separately for elementary, middle and high school, from Texas Education Agency A-F ratings.
- Front-door direction. Homes with no direction on file are included, so none is missed because a listing left it out.
- Deal ranking, a screen for homes priced below the area average. It is a screen, not an appraisal.
Each data set names its source and date. Where data is missing, the site says so instead of guessing: on October 21, 2026, about 57 of every 100 of the 46,379 homes for sale or coming soon showed a front-door direction, and the rest show none.
More than one way to buy or sell
For sellers, the site compares seven ways to sell, matched to a seller's timeline and goals, with a 60-second quiz: a traditional sale, a trade-in, renovate-then-sell, sell and stay (a leaseback), owner financing, and two different cash offers. A Quick Cash Offer is built for speed and certainty. A Market Value Cash Offer aims for a price closer to full value, with no prep and no showings. They are different choices for different goals, and each page lays out the trade-offs. A home value report is available by request. It is an estimate based on recent sales of similar homes, not an appraisal.
Free guides support both sides. A First-Time Homebuyer's Guide and A First-Time Home Seller's Guide are eight-page PDFs written for Houston-area readers, free to download without signing up. They sit in a Real Estate Library of 77 downloadable guides, 38 for buyers and 39 for sellers. Buyers also have pages on down payment assistance, new construction and the major loan types, with the same sourced data behind every address.
“Any agent can help you buy or sell. The difference is whether you are shown your choices, the data behind a home, and a plan that fits why you are moving,” said Allen Markel.
Help for the reason you are moving
People sell because life changed, and the situation shapes the plan. The site has a guidance page for each: divorce and separation, probate and inheritance, pre-foreclosure, short sale, downsizing, relocation and job transfer, upsizing, health and assisted living, financial hardship, financing solutions, a home that did not sell, selling without an agent, and tired landlords. The pages offer information and options, not promises, and are not legal, tax or financial advice.
“I spent 28 years in information technology before becoming a REALTOR®, so I like numbers that come with their sources. This is information to help a decision, not a replacement for your lender, insurer, attorney or school district,” Markel said.
The tools are free with a free registration, which also unlocks details that MLS rules limit to registered visitors, such as sold prices and listing history. Sources: school grades come from TEA A-F accountability ratings; flood zones from FEMA flood maps; tax rates from county appraisal rolls and adopted rates, Texas Comptroller special-district filings and county clerk MUD notices; listing details from Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) MLS records.
